Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join a friendly and supportive GP Surgery in Torquay on a 3-month locum contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident autonomous practitioner looking to secure work across March, April, and May 2026.

Key Responsibilities

Management of minor illness presentations

*

Autonomous assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning

*

Independent prescribing (V300 essential)

*

Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary primary care team

*

Delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centred care

Requirements

*

Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered ACP

*

MSc level qualification (or equivalent) in Advanced Practice

*

V300 Independent Prescriber (essential)

*

Experience working within Primary Care / GP settings

*

Confident managing minor illness clinics independently
