Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming Catholic Primary School seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This role is ideal for someone with strong literacy and numeracy skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting young learners at a crucial stage of their education.
The Role:
Supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with their learning and development.
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement engaging learning activities.
Assisting with phonics, early reading, and numeracy interventions.
Encouraging positive behaviour in line with the school's Catholic values and ethos.
Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils with additional needs where required.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience working within EYFS or an early childhood setting.
Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
A caring and nurturing approach to working with young children.
The ability to support pupils with SEND, including Autism and ADHD (desirable).
A commitment to upholding the values of a Catholic school.
