We are happy to be recruiting for one of our high-profile banking clients based in London. They are currently looking for an Operations Analyst for an initial 6 month contract, however, with the possibility for extension. This is a hybrid working role, 2 days from home, 3 days per week required in the London office.

Overview of the role:

The Global Control and Innovation team needs additional resources to ensure ongoing key projects and mandatory programs are successfully delivered on time strengthening the risk frameworks, driving efficiency, and developing innovative solutions.

The team is composed by 15 analysts from very diverse backgrounds, and it is present in 4 different locations: Singapore, Poland, London and New York.

This multidisciplinary team is part of the Global FX&OTC Ops Cash Management & Sanctions Function, its function is to drive change, transform processes using new technology and advance our risk frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

The focus of the team is to deliver innovative solutions which will meet or exceed the target operating model while defining and maintaining a strong control environment to meet costs targets.

* Collaboration on a day to day basis with Front Office, various internal departments, and external banks and corporate institutions from all over the world.
* Support our front to back technology strategy and deliver key transformation programs including driving market and internal initiatives leveraging new innovative technology (ISO CBPR+ program, T2/T2S consolidation, DLT, RPA, USCs, Flowable)
* Drive efficiency's in the group by understanding and addressing breaks in STP, process re engineering to support the Group Ops efficiency targets
* Advance our risk frameworks by leveraging E2E data to drive additional controls, address existing & emerging risks
* Address EoSL issues for some key applications and support the successfully implementation of their replacements.
* Enhance control landscape with specific focus on payments
* Ensure compliance with policies, regulations and audit findings via: timely completion of audit, control and regulatory requirements

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

* Proven experience in Investment Banking Operations (or other related Bank Functions) with exposure on innovation topics.
* Proven track record of efficiency identification and delivering strategic solutions.
* Results oriented individual with varying ranges of experience. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
* Evidenced support and contribution to strategic projects and planning with global impact.
* Proven ability to manage work effectively and make decisions under pressure, following procedures and policies, while working autonomously.
* Exposure to Robotics, Tableau, Alteryx, Data lakes/stores is advantage.
* Role offers flexibility as will require global engagement (base line of role is EMEA working hours).

Location:

This is a hybrid role, working from home with working from London office required 3 days a week.

Working hours:

Standard working hours with some flex where required - 37.5 hours per week
