We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paraplanner to join our dynamic financial services team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting financial planners by preparing comprehensive reports, conducting thorough analysis, and ensuring that all documentation is meticulously organised. This position requires strong communication skills and a solid understanding of financial planning principles.
Duties
- Assist financial planners in the preparation of client reports and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct detailed analysis of client financial situations to support the development of tailored financial plans.
- Analyse client information and existing investments/policies
- Tax calculations
- Construct appropriate solutions for clients and make recommendations in conjunction with the advisers
- Write suitability reports for cases of varying complexity
- Run cashflow models for clients
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and clarify any queries regarding their financial plans.
- Utilise IT tools and software such a Intelliflo, XPlan, and various Platforms
- Maintain an organised filing system for all client records and documentation to ensure easy access and retrieval.
- Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines for report submissions and client meetings.
- Collaborate with other team members to streamline processes and improve overall service delivery.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a paraplanner is essential
- DIP LEVEL 4 in financial Advice is essential
- Strong report writing skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Strong working knowledge of Pensions, Investments and IHT products is essential
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and other office software essential for document preparation.
- Highly organised with exceptional time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- A keen interest in financial planning principles and practices is advantageous.
