Shipping and Receiving Clerk - Experienced
Job Type: Full-time
Current Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Responsible for performing tasks involved in the shipment and receipt, and stocking of materials, supplies and equipment.
Under minimum supervision, prepares records of goods shipped and bill of lading. Posts weight and shipping charges and maintains shipping records fillies.
May operate a forklift and prepare goods for final shipment. Clerk goods received against Bills of lading, purchase orders or other documents. Places materials and supplies in stockroom or in specified floor locations. Sorts, counts and checks raw materials, finished and semi-finished parts, fill orders from requisitions and maintain the necessary clerical records. Record goods received for purchase orders on computer. Prints out daily log of items received on computer. Maintains daily inventory balance. Receives and processes RGA’s.
May be required to perform additional responsibilities on an as-needed basis.
Education, Training and Experience:
Requires a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in shipping and/or receiving. Basic knowledge of computers and software. Knowledge of computers and software, Knowledge if Macola software for receiving, and excel software for RGA’s helpful.
Requires a high school educations or equivalent. Must be able to communicate and read, write and speak English.
Must have a valid Drivers license and Social Security card.
