Job role: Maintenance Engineer Salary: £30,000-£38,000 DOE Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire  Hours: 8:00-16:00 Monday to FridayJob Type: Full Time, Permanent

The Role

• Carry out Preventative Planned Maintenance and reactive breakdowns within stipulated timescales to minimise production downtime.
• Carry out general building and plant maintenance including minor repairs, fixtures, fittings and lighting
• Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns

• Respond to unplanned breakdowns in a timely and effective manner
• Carry out both mechanical and electrical fault finding to diagnose potential issues or problems.

• Carry out all work according to company procedures and Health & Safety Policies

The Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment (essential)
• Multi-skilled Electromechanical Engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias (essential)
• Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic capabilities (essential)
• Previous experience working within a Heavy Industrial environment (advantageous)
• Relevant Electrical/Mechanical Qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs) – Advantageous
• Knowledge of PLC systems (advantageous)
• Full UK Driving License required
