We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join our client. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a nurturing environment that focuses on enhancing student learning and well-being.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver individualised lessons that cater to the specific needs of each student.
  • Assess and record students' progress and provide feedback to help them advance their skills.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and specialists to develop support plans that enhance students' educational experiences.
  • Implement and adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel respected and valued.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay informed about the latest educational strategies and resources for teaching students with special needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working as an SEN Teacher or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of the strategies needed to manage and support children with special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create and maintain a compassionate and supportive learning environment.
  • Patience, resilience, and dedication to student development and well-being.
