The Opportunity We are seeking a creative and practical Teacher of Design & Technology, with a specialism in Food Technology, to join a well-resourced department at a thriving secondary school in Richmond upon Thames. This is an ideal role for an educator passionate about food science, nutrition, and culinary skills.

The Role You will teach Design & Technology, primarily focusing on Food Technology, across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5 (GCSE Food Preparation & Nutrition). Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging practical and theoretical lessons, fostering creativity, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of food hygiene and nutrition. You will manage kitchen safety and contribute to the maintenance of resources.

The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will hold QTS and a strong degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related field.
