We seek to appoint an inspirational SENCo to work across Bright Minds Creative Academy and Arise Academy in Croydon.

You will be responsible for supporting young people across these schools that need extra assistance, taking responsibility for the day today high quality in class and intervention support for our pupils, enabling them to make good progress in their learning.

You will play a pivotal role in leading sites of the school through their next phase of development. We are seeking someone with the vision and drive to develop the provision and improve outcomes for pupils.

The successful applicant will need:

Must hold a SENDCO Qualification or be close to completing
Have valid QTS
Have a robust understanding of SEND Code of practice
Have some experience of working effectively with local authorities.
Have a passion for ensuring all young people succeed.
Be able to work effectively within a supportive, committed, and successful staff team.
Have high aspirations for themselves and a commitment to further development.
An understanding of SEMH education and how support the additional needs associated with SEMH pupils.
