Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:

Liaise with shop floor electricians, fitters, lean manufacturing team, QC department related to process improvements, design & safety
Liaise with software engineers on improvements & assist with implementation
Recommend new technologies to improve efficiency
Producing engineering designs & testing documentation
Infrequent travel to customer or supplier
Jobs would include Electrical Design, Schematics & Control Panels

Electrical Design Engineer - The Person:

Ideally HNC qualified in a relevant discipline
Experience of any electrical CAD package would considered i.e. AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical & Promis-e etc - training on EPlan available
Methodical & accurate, with excellent communication & problem solving skills
Full training available for the EPlan design package

The role is commutable from within and around the following locations: York, Hull and Scarborough.

Would also suit a Control Systems Engineer with CAD experience or an Electrical Project Engineer.
