Job Title: Test Architect / Test Technical SME - ERP (Infor ideally) manuafacturing

On site near Belfast 2/3 days per week, all travel expenses paid by the client

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Technical SME with strong experience Manufacturing ERP systems . This role will act as the technical authority for testing activities, providing guidance on test design, automation, tools, and complex ERP integrations rather than owning overall test strategy.

Key Responsibilities
• Act as the technical SME for testing across Infor ERP implementations and enhancements.
• Provide hands-on expertise in testing Infor modules (M3 / LN / CloudSuite).
• Support complex testing for business processes (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Compliance).
• Design and review test frameworks, automation solutions, and test assets.
• Guide teams on test tools, standards, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex test and environment issues.
• Support integration, regression, and UAT testing activities.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and business SMEs on technical quality topics.

Required Experience & Skills
• 7+ years in software testing with strong technical focus.
• Proven hands-on experience with Infor ERP systems (M3, LN, or CloudSuite).
• Aerospace domain experience (manufacturing, MRO, regulated environments).
• Strong understanding of ERP processes: Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Order-to-Cash.
• Experience with test automation tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of integration and API testing.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
