A thriving secondary school in Swindon is seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed educator to inspire students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Key Responsibilities for a English Teacher:

Deliver engaging and effective English lessons in line with the National Curriculum

Support and challenge students to achieve their academic potential

Monitor and assess pupil progress regularly

Create an inclusive, supportive, and positive learning environment

Contribute to departmental planning, meetings, and wider school initiatives

Requirements as a English Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Proven experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4

Strong classroom management and communication skills

A genuine passion for English Language and Literature

DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one

This role would suit an experienced English Teacher or a strong ECT looking to begin their teaching career in a supportive and dynamic environment.
