Building Safety Lead

Location: Saltisford, CV34 4UL

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Duration: 3+ Months

Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 09:00 - 17:00, 37 Hours per week

Pay Rate: £ 26.86 per hour

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with all relevant building safety regulations and standards.

Conduct regular inspections and audits of building facilities to identify potential safety hazards.

Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.

Coordinate with various departments to ensure the effective implementation of safety measures.

Provide training and guidance to staff on safety protocols and emergency procedures.

Prepare detailed reports on safety inspections and incidents, and recommend corrective actions.

Act as the point of contact for any safety-related inquiries and issues.

Person Specification

Proven experience in building safety management or a related field.

Strong knowledge of current building safety regulations and compliance requirements.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Relevant qualifications or certifications in safety management are desirable.

Proficient in using safety management software and tools.
