You will work with students who present with a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, anxiety, trauma-related needs, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges.

As a Mental Health Assistant, you will play a key role in helping pupils feel safe, understood, and ready to learn.

Key Details:

• Role: Mental Health Assistant* Location: Reading* Salary: £89-£100 per day* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm* Start Date: ASAP* Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term* Ideal for: Psychology, Counselling, Criminology, or Education Graduates

Your responsibilities will include:* Providing 1:1 and small group emotional support* Supporting pupils with emotional regulation strategies* Assisting with behaviour management in a calm and consistent manner* Working collaboratively with SEN staff and therapists* Helping create a positive, structured learning environment
