Job Title: Site Engineer - Major Highway Project (South Coast)
Location: South Coast, UK
Start Date: Aiming for the third week of July
Lodging: Accommodation covered at £65/night for the right candidate
Rate: Competitive - Inside IR35 or CIS (dependent on status and experience)
We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Site Engineer to join our team on a major highway infrastructure project along the South Coast. This is a key role within a high-profile scheme, offering long-term work and the opportunity to play a vital part in delivering a complex civil engineering programme.

Key Responsibilities:

Full setting out duties across the project

Accurate and up-to-date record keeping (As-Built data, volumes, quantities)

Take-offs and material quantification

QA responsibilities, including creating ITPs and managing QA workflows

Lead and manage the Engineering & Survey team

Review and verify design information; raise and manage Technical Queries (TQs)

Create 3D models for setting out and machine control systems

Coordinate and oversee on-site testing

Prepare and report post-construction volumes and measures

Role Requirements:

Ideally able to work a 12 days on / 2 days off rotation if required

Ideally able to provide a Chapter 8 compliant vehicle and fuel, built into the rate

Must ideally supply their own:

Survey/Setting out instrument

Laptop with MS Office, AutoCAD LT, and LSS Vista

Basic hand tools and full PPE

Contract Details:

Rate: Competitive (Inside IR35 or CIS - to be agreed based on candidate status)

Lodging: Covered at £65 per night (for the right candidate)

Duration: Ongoing, with long-term potential
