We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Transactional Management Accountant to support our finance team during a key period of growth and transformation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to deepen their experience in management accounting and contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Intercompany & Financial Transactions: Accurately record and process sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journals, and expenses.
  • Bank & Cash Management: Perform regular bank reconciliations and manage petty cash, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee supplier and customer accounts, process invoices, manage payment cycles, and support credit control.
  • VAT Compliance: Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with HMRC regulations.
  • Audit Support: Assist with audit preparation, including documentation collation and responding to auditor queries.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to UK accounting standards and financial regulations.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Support month-end reporting and assist with financial analysis and forecasting.
  • Project Involvement: Contribute to finance-related projects and process improvements.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally within a management accounting function.
  • Strong understanding of UK financial regulations, VAT, and intercompany transactions.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and communication abilities.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
