About the Role:
My client is looking for an ambitious and detail-driven Structural Engineer with experience in designing buildings to join our Leeds-based team. You'll work on a portfolio of skyline-defining residential, commercial, and mixed-use towers—contributing to some of the UK's most technically challenging and architecturally ambitious structures.

The Role
My client is a well-established structural and civil engineering consultancy known for delivering complex high-rise projects across the UK. With a growing pipeline in Leeds and across Northern cities, we offer the opportunity to be involved in iconic projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and contribute to the structural design of high-rise buildings (steel and reinforced concrete).

Collaborate with architects, contractors, and M&E teams to deliver integrated design solutions.

Perform structural analysis, modelling, and calculations using industry software (e.g. ETABS, Tekla, Robot, Revit).

*

Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and reports.

*

Attend design and site meetings, supporting the project through planning, construction, and handover.

*

Ensure compliance with relevant codes (Eurocodes, British Standards) and building regulations.

*

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal technical development.

The Role

*

Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (MEng preferred).

*

Chartered or working toward chartership with IStructE or ICE.

*

Proven experience delivering multi-storey and/or high-rise buildings.

*

Proficiency in structural design software and BIM tools.

*

Strong understanding of structural behaviour, lateral stability systems, and buildability challenges in tall buildings.

*

Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
