Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
Our client is a well-established forwarder, who is looking to recruit an Air Export Clerk.
Role Involves:
· Handling airfreight export shipments from start to finish including invoicing.
· Preparing and processing export documents.
· Completing customs entries in compliance with current regulations.
· Liaising with airlines, freight forwarders, transport companies, couriers and internal departments.
· Providing excellent customer service and resolving any shipment issues.
Experience required.
· Good working knowledge of export airfreight experience.
· Understand a full range of Incoterms and current Customs procedures.
· Clear understanding of International Trade Regulations.
· Experience required of CDS, Sequoia/ ASM customs system.
· Knowledge of Box Top is advantage.
· Level CO AvSec trained desirable, but training will be given.
· Good communication skills and team player.
· Strong attention to detail and good organisation skills.
Monday to Friday 9am-6pm
Once trained on call once every 3 months.
