We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic One-to-One Academic Tutor to join our team, delivering tailored tuition in Maths or English to students who need extra support outside the classroom.  We currently work closely with Northumberland local authority on providing tutors to young people who are out of education for a number of different reasons. If you are interested in making a difference in young peoples lives and want a flexible working solution then one to one tuition with Teaching Personnel Tutors could be the key.  Please see below for further information;

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, high-quality one-to-one tuition sessions in either Maths or English across a range of key stages 

Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to suit individual needs

Maintain accurate records of student progress and session outcomes through our dedicated tuition platform (full training to be provided)

Liaise with parents/carers and other stakeholders to ensure consistent support

Inspire confidence and motivation in students of all abilities

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Essential

Subject specialism in Maths or English

Experience working with learners on a one-to-one or small group basis is desirable

Strong communication and organisational skills

Passion for helping students achieve their full potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
