Role Overview
Responsible for accurate processing of supplier invoices, reconciliations, and payment runs within a fast-paced logistics environment. You’ll handle freight, transport, logistics and customs-related costs, ensuring compliance and supporting month-end close.
Key Responsibilities
- Process high-volume invoices for freight, transport, warehousing, and customs.
- Match invoices to PO/GRN/POD and resolve discrepancies.
- Perform supplier statement reconciliations and manage queries.
- Prepare weekly payment runs and support month-end accruals.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with audit controls.
- Working on month end close.
Skills & Experience
- Previous Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable experience.
- Background in logistics, or freight forwarding preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and Excel skills.
- Knowledge of VAT and ERP systems (such as Exact or BoxTop)
Desirable
- AAT qualification or equivalent of 3-4 years' experience with Accounts Payable
