Waking Night Children’s Residential Support Worker – Liverpool

Location: Liverpool

Pay: £13.51 per hour (unqualified) / £15.84 per hour (Level 3 in Residential Childcare)

Hours: Flexible – Up to Full-Time Available

Ratio: Supporting a Child on a 2:1 Basis

P4 Recruitment are currently recruiting compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Waking Night Residential Support Workers to join our team supporting a child in a children’s residential setting on a 2:1 basis in Liverpool.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about making a real difference in a child’s life, working within a supportive team, with flexible shift options up to full-time hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide overnight care and supervision to ensure the child’s safety and emotional well-being
• Respond to the child’s needs with empathy and professionalism throughout the night
• Work collaboratively with the day team to ensure consistency and continuity of care
• Maintain accurate and detailed records and reports
• Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a children’s residential home is essential
• Very clear and confident communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently during night shifts
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is desirable and qualifies for the higher rate of pay
• A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable children
