Red Snapper is seeking a qualified Probation Officer to support a Probation Delivery Unit on a part-time, remote basis, preparing Pre-Sentence Reports for the courts.

Duration: 3 months, with possibility of extension | 2 Days per Week (18 hours)
£21.75 PAYE | £28.64 Umbrella per hour

Role Overview

Working remotely for 18 hours per week over 2 days, you will be responsible for the timely preparation and submission of high-quality Pre-Sentence Reports (stand-down, fast delivery, and standard reports as required), providing clear risk assessments and sentencing recommendations.

Key Requirements

Qualified Probation Officer (PQIP, DipPS, or equivalent) - essential

Recent experience in PSR writing and court report preparation

Strong working knowledge of OASys and nDelius

Ability to work independently and manage workload to deadlines

Confident in using remote working systems (Teams, secure email, etc.)
