We are recruiting for Multiple Exam Invigilators for the up and coming Exam Season starting in May . These are flexible positions and you can choose as few or as many Shifts that suit you .
- Shifts are in the morning or afternoon or sometimes exams will be the whole day . Earliest start is 8am and latest finish is 4pm .
- Schools will be based in and around the Bromley and South London areas .
- Payrate vary between £14 per hour and £18 depending if you choose paye or umbrella payments
The Role:
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare the Exam Room: Set up desks, chairs, and exam materials according to regulations.
- Supervise Candidates: Ensure students enter the room quietly and follow seating instructions.
- Maintain Security: Handle exam papers securely, ensuring they are not exposed until the official start time.
- Conduct Examinations: Read announcements, start the exam, and monitor student conduct throughout the duration.
- Ensure Compliance: Actively observe students, prevent communication, and prevent access to unauthorized items (e.g., phones, smartwatches).
- Collect Scripts: Collect all question papers and answer booklets at the end of the exam to ensure nothing is missing.
- Handle Emergencies: Act appropriately during fire alarms or if a student falls ill, under the direction of the lead invigilator.

Typical Requirements
- DBS Check: A strict enhanced DBS check (or equivalent background check) is required due to working with children.
- Experience: Prior experience is rarely required, but working with young people is often advantageous.
