Senior Design Co-ordinator / Technical Design Co-ordinator
Location: Stockton-on-Tees
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (DOE)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Design Co-ordinator / Technical Design Co-ordinator to join a leading construction specialist in Stockton-on-Tees. You will coordinate the design process for projects involving SFS, drylining, or cladding, ensuring smooth handover from design to manufacture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support sales with technical reviews, project specifications, and early engagement

• Assist estimating with technical reviews, take-offs, and BOQs

• Act as the main technical contact for the sales team

• Manage the design process, including RFIs, design trackers, and document control

• Liaise with client design teams to resolve queries and ensure requirements are met

• Make sure design and engineering teams meet programme deadlines

• Oversee value engineering solutions and ensure smooth transition into manufacture

• Work with site teams to resolve design issues and provide feedback for improvements

• Upload and manage documents on client systems (e.g., Asite)

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar design coordination role within construction

• Background in SFS, drylining, or cladding

• Strong organisational and communication skills

Salary & Benefits:

• £36,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
