Pertemps Swindon are currently recruiting for Maintenance Engineer for medical device manufacturer based in Swindon. This is a permanent position.

Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00 with 1-hour unpaid lunch break.
Salary £45000-£50000 DOE

Main duties:

Providing Electrical/Mechanical support to all areas of manufacturing & their processes while always adhering to GMP standards. 
Support to achieve production output standards
Maintain Production Machinery and spare parts
Plan Preventative Maintenance(PPM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs
Respond quickly to machine breakdowns
Monitor machine performance
Analyse & monitor breakdown frequencies
Maintain accurate documentation, records, and performance data
Ensure safe systems of work are in place and adhered toRequirements:

Experience as a Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing environment (preferably pharmaceutical)
Proven experience in electrical and mechanical systems, including fault finding and machinery repair.
Willingness to learn new skills
Self-motivated, proactive
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and visual)
City & Guilds, NVQ, or BTEC Level 3 in Electrical Maintenance or Installation preferred but not essential.Desirable:
