HR Assistant - Part Time 12 Months FTC

Ideally 2 days per week (9am-5pm) or a flexible working pattern can be considered.

Salary: £16,000 2 days a week equivalent £40,000 FTE

Location - Biggleswade

You will bring with you 3+ years' experience of working within HR with an approachable, trusted manor allowing colleagues at all levels to feel comfortable to approach you.

Responsibilities:

* Resolving day-to-day employee relations issues by offering initial support and escalating matters where necessary, often advising on employee relational matters that arise.

* Support and assist in workplace investigations, gathering information, and conducting interviews.

* Maintain digital and electronic records of employees.

* Provide guidance to employees on HR policies, assisting with queries regarding benefits, policies, and work-related concerns.

* Manage joiner and leavers processes.

* Supporting payroll when required.

* Writing salary review and promotion letters.

* Manage flexible working processes.

* Handling confidential employee information with discretion and professionalism.

* Managing HR data systems, ensuring digital records are up-to-date and compliant with internal audits.

* Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.

* Collaborate with the wider HR support on projects and subject matters as required.

Experience required:

* 3 years + of experience as an HR Assistant

* Exposure to labour law and employment equity regulations.

* Effective HR administration and people management skills.

* Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools.
