Software Test Engineer
Certain Advantage is hiring for a Software Test Engineer based in the Guildford or Newcastle area.
This role is on a contract basis and is hybrid-based.

We're working with a Manufacturing business that operates in the Aerospace sector. They design, manufacture and deliver industry-leading commercial aircraft, and a separate Space and Defence division.

The Role:
This role is for a Software Test Engineer —someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You'll be results-oriented and driven to succeed.
You'll be working in a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:

Task estimation in accordance with sprint planning.
Design of tests within an agile environment using a test management tool.
Design and execution of automated and exploratory tests, particularly in RESTful API environments.
Test of Web applications
Contribution towards researching, evaluating and managing test automation frameworks.
Support Test Readiness and Verification Reviews.
Complete test phases independently and within a team environment.
Contribution to the Integration and Configuration Management planThe Individual
We're looking for people who can show:

Agile development
Ability to support the Product Owner in defining acceptance criteria for user stories
Testing REST Architecture using Postman or Bruno
Web Applications UI Testing
Test Automation -DesirableThe Benefits:
