Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Location: Walsall

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000

Top of the salary range will be offered to a candidate with 2 years of experience in Purchase Ledger, ideally from the Construction industry.

We are currently recruiting for a fantastic Reed client based in Walsall. Our client have undergone considerable growth in the last few years and are in a brilliant position to continue growing! The company have maintained a close-knit and family feel. They are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis and grow with them through this exciting period! The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience working in Accounts Payable and be keen to further develop their skills whilst working closely with experienced team members. My client is open to a candidates at varying levels of experience!

Responsibilities Will Include:

• Daily processing of invoices and assisting in preparing the monthly payment runs.
• Reconciling statement statements and maintain great rapport with customers and suppliers!
• Reconcile bank accounts and allocate incoming payments.
• Have the opportunity to learn Payroll and Sales Ledger!

Ideally, You Will:

• Have at least 1 year of experience in Purchase Ledger, my client is happy to provide training but they are willing to consider candidates at varied levels of experience!
• Must have a keen eye for detail, this role involves reconciliation and nominal codes aplenty.
• Experience from the Construction industry would be ideal but is not essential, as my client is happy to provide training!
• Must be a confident communicator and a friendly natured individual, we are looking for a like-minded team member that will stay for years to come!
