We are excited to offer an opportunity for an inspirational Mathematics Lecturer to join our client's dedicated team at a thriving college in West London. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Mathematics and Further Mathematics, looking to contribute to a department known for its high standards and outstanding student achievements.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and effective lessons primarily focused on A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics following the Pearson Edexcel specifications.
- Maintain and enhance the quality of teaching and learning within the department.
- Contribute to the development of teaching materials and curriculum planning.
- Assess, monitor, and provide feedback on students' progress.
- Participate in departmental meetings, training, and professional development sessions.
- Support and mentor students to achieve their academic goals and secure high-ranking university placements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:- Possess a degree in Mathematics or a closely related field (e.g., Physics, Engineering).
- Experience teaching Mathematics up to and including A Level.
- Demonstrable high standard of teaching and ability to promote excellent student outcomes.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for professional development; willingness to obtain a teaching qualification if not already held.
