Geography Teacher / North Staffs / May Start / Fixed-Term Contract

Academics is recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in the North Staffordshire (Stoke) area to appoint a dedicated Geography Teacher to join their team from May half-term through to the end of the summer term on a part-time basis, with the role becoming full-time from September until October half-term.

• Teaching Geography up to KS4
• Part-time from May half-term to July, transitioning to full-time from September to October half-term
• Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality Geography lessons
• Monitoring and assessing student progress
• Providing constructive feedback to support development
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Geography
• Recent experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A genuine passion for student achievement
• Professional, reliable, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
• ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
