The Role

As an Engineering Geologist, you will be involved in both site and office-based work, supporting the delivery of ground investigation projects from planning through to reporting.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supervising and carrying out ground investigations
• Logging soil and rock samples to industry standards
• Coordinating with drilling contractors on site
• Collecting soil and groundwater samples for laboratory testing
• Preparing factual and interpretative reports
• Assisting with geotechnical analysis and assessments
• Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with health and safety procedures

Requirements

• Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline
• Around 1-3 years of relevant industry experience
• Experience supervising ground investigation works
• Strong report writing skills
• Full UK driving licence
