We provide a full range of mechanical, electrical, and fabric services, along with specialist in-house water treatment, gas, air conditioning, and electrical expertise.

When you join Acorn, you will be supported by a dedicated team who values your skills, your safety, and your professional growth.

The Role

  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain accurate records, logbooks, and reports for all works undertaken.
  • Represent Acorn professionally on-site, ensuring punctuality, proper PPE, and a customer-focused approach.

  • Strong knowledge of M&E building services, HVAC plant (A/C, boilers, controls, ventilation), and Legionella awareness.
  • Recognised qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Time-served apprenticeship in mechanical/maintenance engineering.
  • IT literate (Excel, Outlook, Word) with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Why Join Us?

  • Competitive salary with overtime opportunities.
  • Varied and challenging role working across prestigious London sites.
  • Supportive and experienced team culture.
  • Stable company with a strong reputation and long history of success.
