We are working with welcoming secondary schools across Southwark who are seeking an experienced Core Subject Learning Support Assistant to support students in Maths, English and Science. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is confident in their subject knowledge and committed to helping young people reach their academic potential.

The Role

Provide in-class and small-group support across Maths, English and Science

Work closely with teachers to support lesson delivery and student progress

Support students with varying abilities, helping to build confidence and engagement

Contribute positively to a calm, inclusive and well-structured school environment

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant in a secondary school

Strong knowledge of Maths, English and/or Science at secondary level

A degree is preferred (particularly in a core subject or related field)

Confident, proactive and able to build positive relationships with students and staff

Committed to professional development and long-term progression in education
