About the role
An exciting secondment opportunity has arisen to cover the Conference & Review Support Manager post on a fixed term contract covering maternity leave.
The Conference & Review Support Manager is responsible for ensuring the consistent and high-quality delivery of Child Protection Conferences, statutory child in care (CiC) reviews and other meetings, alongside the Safeguarding & Quality Assurance Manager and Principal IRO, to discharge the council's statutory responsibilities in accordance with legislation, London Safeguarding Children Procedures and related guidance.
You will be responsible for the line management and supervision of a team of conference and review administrators, who provide minute taking for conferences and other meetings, and offer business, financial and data support to the Safeguarding, Quality Assurance and Workforce Development Service. This includes overseeing the delivery of regular Participation Events undertaken with children and families.

About you
You will have experience of supervising staff, monitoring budgets and be able to evidence the use of computer-based record keeping and statistics. You will have knowledge of the required legislation, including health and safety and data protection.
The post holder will be able to demonstrate a creative and flexible approach to evaluating, monitoring and improving practice, and have evidence of continued professional development.
