The business is experiencing a period of growth and is now looking to strengthen its finance team with an experienced Accounts Payable professional. You'll be part of a supportive, friendly, and collaborative environment.
Your new role
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll take ownership of the end‑to‑end purchase ledger process. Your responsibilities will include:

Processing high‑volume invoices accurately and efficiently
Managing supplier queries and building strong working relationships
Reconciling statements and resolving discrepancies
Supporting month‑end processes
Ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial proceduresThis is a full‑time, site‑based position working 37.5 hours per week, with flexible shifts of 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday. The role is initially offered on a 3-6-month contract, with strong potential to become permanent.
What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger role
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Confident communication skills when dealing with suppliers and internal teams
Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
Good working knowledge of finance systems and ExcelWhat you'll get in return
