We are seeking a highly skilled M&E Quantity Surveyor with experience in social housing to join our team in Royston. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to play a key role in managing and delivering mechanical and electrical projects across housing portfolios.

• Oversee the commercial and financial management of M&E projects within the social housing sector.

• Prepare, manage, and negotiate contracts, variations, valuations, and final accounts.

• Monitor budgets, costs, and cash flow, ensuring projects are delivered profitably and within agreed margins.

• Work closely with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.

• Analyse tenders, prepare bills of quantities, and provide detailed cost reporting.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, contract terms, and health & safety standards.

• Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within M&E and social housing projects.

• Strong knowledge of JCT/NEC contracts and cost management principles.

• Excellent financial acumen, negotiation, and analytical skills.

• Proficiency in relevant software (MS Office, Excel, cost management systems).

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (desirable).

• Full UK Driving Licence (car allowance included).
