Document Controller required in Rochester, Kent £35- £38k plus package. Permanent opportunity.

Our client is a well recognised new build, refurbishment and fit out contractor with an extensive portfolio, an enviable work book and an established track record of delivering cut an calve, structural and new build office and retail refurbishment projects across the South. The group's client base is a testament to their ability to deliver superior standards and service at all levels.

Due to continued work winning success, our client is currently looking to recruit an established Document Controller to work within one of the businesses most successful teams in the business.

Candidate duties will include:

* Converting information from project teams into user-friendly documents.

* Numbering and labelling documents for identification and reference.

* Scanning, copying and distributing documents to project team members and stakeholders.

* Tracking documents to maintain confidentiality.

* Reviewing documents and making revisions for accuracy.

* Liaising with project team members to ensure documents meet requirements.

Skills needed:

* Knowledge of Microsoft Office software, especially Word, Excel and Outlook or similar programmes.

* Understanding of document control systems.

* Verbal and written communication skills.

* Clear and efficient numbering and labelling skills.

* Typing accuracy and efficiency.

* Attention to detail to ensure documents are accurate and made to specifications.

* Filing and organisation skills for document storage.

* Industry-specific technical knowledge, including understanding of industry terms, policies, and processes.
