Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic QTS qualified Year 2 Teacher to work at a welcoming and high-achieving primary school in the Ribble Valley, Lancashire. This is a full-time maternity cover role beginning in September 2025 and continuing for the full academic year.

The Role

As the Year 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons to a well-behaved and motivated Year 2 class. The successful candidate will hold UK QTS, and be expected to plan, teach and assess effectively across the primary curriculum, maintaining high expectations for all pupils.

This Year 2 Teacher role in Ribble Valley, Lancashire, is suitable for experienced teachers or confident ECTs with a passion for Key Stage 1. You'll be joining a close-knit staff team and a school community that prioritises the wellbeing and progress of every child.

The Year 2 Teacher role is full-time and requires full commitment to class responsibilities, including parents' evenings and collaborative planning. You'll be supported by experienced colleagues, and benefit from a strong leadership team who value innovation and professional development.
