We are working with an excellent SME company base din Batley, who are looking for a company accountant to join them on a full time, permanent basis.
This is a standalone accounts role, reporting into the EU head office in Spain. This role reports into the general manager in Spain and is the only point of contact within finance.
Duties include:
- Full ownership of the purchase ledger, expenses and payment runs
- Full ownership of the sales ledger/credit control
- Credit card expenses
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Accruals, prepayments and fixed asset register
- Posting of journals
- Production of the monthly management accounts
- Budgets and forecasting
- Vat returns
- Petty cash management
- Year end duties such as audits
- Reporting into the directors and submitting all financial information.
