Role: Product Procurement Engineer

Location: County Durham

Industry: Automotive Manufacturing

Contract: Agency | Full-Time (36.5 hrs/week, 5 days on-site) | 12 Months + Contract

Travel: Up to 20%

Join our clients team as a Product Procurement Engineer, where you'll play a key role in bringing new products to life, from concept to launch. You'll work closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams to manage part development, drive cost efficiencies, and improve product quality.

What You'll Do:

• Lead APQP & cost management through to PPAP
• Support NPI, CPI, and NSI initiatives
• Implement supplier strategies aligned with category goals
• Drive quality improvements and VAVE activities
• Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and procurement

What You'll Bring:

• Degree or equivalent experience
• Strong supplier management & product development experience
• Data-driven decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
