Purpose of the role
As Strategic Key Account Manager within Movianto's Commercial team, you will play a critical role in driving commercial growth through the strategic management of a portfolio of high-value healthcare clients. Reporting to the Account Director Key Accounts, you will take full ownership of senior client relationships, ensuring retention, expansion, and a long-term partnership approach. Your focus will be on identifying and executing strategic growth opportunities, influencing client decision-making at the most senior levels, and collaborating across Movianto and its sister companies to deliver tailored solutions that meet the evolving needs of the healthcare sector.
This is a senior role that requires a blend of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and the ability to build and sustain C-level relationships that deliver real business impact.
How you'll make an impact as a Strategic Key Account Manager at Movianto:
- Take the lead on a multi-million-pound portfolio of healthcare clients, driving revenue growth, profitability, and long-term retention. Build strong, senior-level relationships and become a trusted advisor within complex, fast-paced healthcare environments.
- Shape and deliver account growth strategies that align client objectives with Movianto's commercial goals. Identify and lead on key opportunities including renewals, re-tenders, and new service propositions, while negotiating high-value contracts that reflect our true value.
- Bring thought leadership and sector insights to clients and internal teams, acting as a healthcare logistics ambassador. Drive structured account management with regular reviews, growth pipeline updates, and performance reporting.
- Collaborate across teams to deliver tailored, high-impact client solutions, ensuring smooth execution of projects and service changes. Provide concise reporting to senior leadership and champion a partnership-first approach that positions Movianto as a seamless extension of our clients' operations.
What it will take to thrive as a Strategic Key Account Manager at Movianto:
- You'll have solid experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehousing. A strong track record managing high-value client portfolios and influencing at C-suite level is key.
- Commercially minded and customer-focused, you're confident in managing contracts, leading rate reviews, and spotting growth opportunities that drive sustainable results. You bring a strategic, collaborative style and can lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex client needs, at times on a European level.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong commercial insight, and experience at a European level will help you succeed. Familiarity with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce), reporting tools like PowerBI, and Microsoft Office applications is also important.
