Supervise and coordinate in-house or subcontractor gangs on short-duration works.
Ensure all site activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Undertake regular site visits to monitor progress, measure works, and provide support.
Organise daily workloads and ensure resource availability across multiple sites.
Monitor and enforce health and safety compliance at all times.
Report daily progress, site issues, and updates to senior management.
Undertake winter maintenance duties (e.g., gritting/snow clearance) as required.
Accurately measure works for progress reports, valuations, and invoicing.
Liaise with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure expectations are met.

Working Hours:

Minimum 9-hour working days.
Overtime available during peak winter (e.g., gritting shifts) and summer periods.
Occasional out-of-hours work as required.

Skills & Experience:

Experience in a supervisory role within highways, civil engineering, utilities, or a similar sector.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple gangs and subcontractors.
Good understanding of health & safety and safe systems of work.
Competence in reading drawings, setting out, and measuring works.
Full UK Driving Licence - essential.
CSCS card - required.
SSSTS or SMSTS - preferred.
Winter maintenance experience - desirable.
