Job Title: Furniture Assembly & Multi-Skilled Warehouse Operative

Location: North Finchley, N12

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Our client, a busy and growing warehouse and furniture company in North Finchley, is looking for a practical, versatile operative to join their team. This is a hands-on role that offers a mix of warehouse work, van deliveries, and on-site furniture assembly. You’ll get the variety of a dynamic role, working both in the warehouse and occasionally at client locations.

• Warehouse Duties: Receive, store, and organize goods efficiently, and prepare items for delivery.
• Van Driving: Safely drive a company van to deliver furniture and other items to clients, providing a professional service.
• On-Site Furniture Assembly: Assemble flat-pack and pre-fabricated furniture at the warehouse or occasionally on client sites. Being comfortable assembling furniture on-site is an important part of the role.
• Customer Service: Provide a friendly and professional service when delivering and assembling furniture.
• Inventory Management: Help maintain accurate stock levels and ensure all items are logged correctly.
• Team Support: Work closely with colleagues to keep operations running smoothly.
• Health & Safety: Follow all safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

• Full UK Driving Licence (required for van deliveries).
• Experience assembling flat-pack or pre-fabricated furniture is highly desirable.
• Background in handyman work, carpentry, or similar trades is an advantage.
• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Comfortable with occasional on-site work at client locations.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting and assembling furniture safely.
• Reliable, motivated, and ready to enjoy a varied and hands-on role.

• Permanent, full-time role with a competitive salary of £27,000 - £30,000 per annum.
