Pastoral Lead - Alternative Provision
Are you an experienced Pastoral Lead or Head of Year with a passion for supporting young people to overcome barriers to learning? Do you have the skills and resilience to work with students who require strong behavioural support and mentoring? This alternative provision is looking to appoint a dedicated Pastoral Lead to focus on behaviour, mentoring and student engagement in a supportive and structured environment.

As a Pastoral Lead, you will play a key role in supporting students' behaviour and emotional development, helping them to re-engage with education and achieve positive outcomes. You will work closely with teaching staff and leadership to implement effective behaviour strategies, provide targeted mentoring and build strong, positive relationships with students. This is a highly rewarding role where your work will have a direct impact on the progress and wellbeing of young people.

This role requires a confident and experienced Pastoral Lead with a strong background in behaviour management and mentoring within a school or alternative provision setting.

Job Role:

Leading on behaviour support and pastoral care across the provision
Mentoring students on a 1-2-1 basis to support engagement and progress
Implementing and supporting behaviour management strategies
Building positive relationships to support student wellbeing and development
Supporting students to re-engage with education
Working closely with teaching staff, families and external agencies
Monitoring behaviour, attendance and pastoral progress
Contributing to a safe, structured and supportive learning environmentIn Return You Will:
