Production Operative – Wigan

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join our well-established client based in Wigan. This is a fantastic opportunity offering stable working hours, a supportive team environment, and ongoing training.

Shifts

• Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30
• Friday: 08:00 – 12:00

Rates of Pay

• £12.21 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Production Operative, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Assisting with the operation and basic maintenance of production lines to ensure smooth and efficient processes
• Reading, understanding, and following detailed work instructions to maintain quality and consistency
• Monitoring and inspecting products throughout the production process to ensure quality standards are met
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment

Essential Skills

• Ability to carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving materials
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow work instructions accurately
• A team-focused approach with the ability to work collaboratively to meet production targets

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment (advantageous but not essential)
• Availability to start work as soon as possible

Training Provided

• Company policy and procedure training provided to successful candidates
