JOB - Plant Fitter/Engineer

LOCATION - Wigan

TERM - Permanent

SALARY - £35,000 - £55,000 (Dependant on experience)

My client is a heavy machinery specialist. They are looking for an experienced Plant Fitter/Engineer to join their expanding team based in the Wigan area on a permanent basis.

The Mechanical Engineering Technician will ideally have the following attributes:

At least 4 years' relevant experience as a Mechanical Fitter/Engineer
Experienced in the maintenance and servicing of heavy plant machinery
Have a confident technical skillset with a Mechanical Engineering qualification
Be NVQ level 3 certifified Plant technician
Flexible with working hours and overtime
Have an excellent work ethic and positive attitude
Be a team player 

The Mechanical Engineering Technician role will involve:

Working in a hot, heavy and sometimes challenging environment
Planned Preventative Maintenance on heavy machinery
Meeting Health & Safety standards
Participating in a team to ensure the smooth running of operations
