Pertemps are pleased to be supporting a local company based near Stourbridge recruit a Contract/Helpdesk engineer within the Service and Maintenance Department at their head office near Stourbridge.
Roles and responsibilities are to include: -
Reviewing engineer's job reports to ascertain if there is a requirement for further action
Preparation of quotations for small works projects and replacement parts
Management of small works projects for the Service & Maintenance Department
Production of job-specific RAMS for maintenance tasks and small works projects
Providing assistance to the team of engineers
Support in planning labour resources and deploying weekly diaries
The successful candidate will have the following skills:
Candidates ideally should have knowledge of mechanical and electrical disciplines and will have ideally come from a building services or controls background.
Candidates should be able to operate both independently and as part of a team, taking ownership of tasks that they undertake.
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Be able to build relationships with clients and become there go to for their day-to-day needs.
In return the company will provide a salary of £30k and £35k dependant on experience and the skills that they possess. The company operates a pension scheme into which both the employee and company contribute. Annual leave is 25 years days plus Bank holidays.
Hours of work are 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday, with one-hour paid lunch daily (37 ½ hours per week)
