PK Education are working in partnership with a well-established secondary school in Rotherham to recruit a dedicated and knowledgeable History Teacher for a long-term position. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking team.

The Role:

Full-time History teaching position starting ASAP

Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4

Ensuring students are engaged, challenged, and making progress

Creating a safe and inclusive classroom environment

Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress and attainment of students

Attending departmental meetings and contributing to the curriculum planning process

Requirements:

Recognised UK teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent

A degree in History or a related subject

Recent experience teaching History in a UK secondary school

Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and GCSE exam specifications

Excellent behaviour management and classroom organisation skills

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
