CNC Turner

Salary package £38,000- 41,000, + overtime, North Somerset BS40, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm Including 1 hour of breaks every day) no shifts, pension , 23 days holiday + bank holidays, permanent role.

Stable and successful precision engineering company recruiting for a cnc turner in a friendly workshop environment reporting to the production manager.

The cnc turner will involve

Setting and operating cnc turning machines
Editing or programming would be advantageous but not essential
Knowledge of mazak or citizen turning machines would be of interest
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Manage your own workload with jobs allocated from the production manager
Machining precision engineered parts producing small batches and medium size batches Skills required for the cnc turner

You are likely to have experience in producing machined parts from engineering drawings.
cnc turning experience with mazaks or citizen machines is preferred but not essential
Precision engineering working in imperial
city & guilds, nvq or equivalent engineering qualifications or time served in machining could also be suitable if you can demonstrate a suitable track record
The successful candidate may have served an engineering apprenticeship as a skilled machinist, however candidates who are time served in machining could also be suitable if they can demonstrate a suitable track record in cnc turning

Our client operates a friendly workshop with a variety of machining of small and medium size batches and offers a great opportunity to join an established team as a cnc turner or cnc programmer
