The Role - Learning Support Assistant

We are looking for a caring and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join a nurturing and inclusive primary school in Islington from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term role.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), providing tailored assistance in both one-to-one and small group settings. Your role will involve delivering structured phonics activities, incorporating sensory play, and supporting pupils with a range of learning needs including autism, speech and language difficulties, and developmental delays.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children who have EHCPs and a strong understanding of differentiated support strategies within a primary school setting.
